What EWM does
IBM Engineering Workflow Management, formerly Rational Team Concert, brings planning, task tracking, change management, source control and builds together on one platform. Every work item and code change is traceable back to the requirements and tests behind it. Alidade Technology helps you license, configure and roll out EWM for software and systems teams.
- Agile and hybrid planning: release plans, sprints, backlogs and PI planning for SAFe and other frameworks
- Work item and change management: configurable workflows for tasks, defects, change requests and approvals
- Source control: built-in Jazz source control, or integration with Git, with change sets linked to work items
- Build and deployment: build definitions and integration with CI tools such as Jenkins
- Process enforcement: rules and preconditions that make sure the right steps happen before work is delivered
